Great idea, Nicholas

-- Nassim Nicholas Taleb, author of “The Black Swan,” said investors who lost money in the financial crisis should sue the Swedish Central Bank for awarding the Nobel Prize to economists whose theories he said brought down the global economy. --

Comment: Taleb, you're still too mild. Firstly, the persons you name are just the iceberg of a gigantic problem. Some guess is that about 80 % of the prize winners should be put on trial. Secondly, sueing the Nobel prize committee provides no incentive for the economics sheeples herd to behave better. I guess it may be better to consider installing a guillotine and have about 80 % of the Nobel prize winners in economics lined-up, one after the other.
So why I am a so cynical and ready to say bad things like I said? The reason is that I do not hate any of the winners, yet what I hate is that many of them sold their sold. Many economists famous or not, have put the search for truth aside and instead do all they can in order to win the approval of authorities with the aim to receive grants and jobs and prestige and power. The catalyst in this process was Samuelson along with the Kennedy and Johnson staffs at the council of economic advisors.
