Wasn't it just a few months ago when Krugman lamented that Germany would push the world economy into a new depression because of a lack of more stimulus? I am not amazed about Krugman - he is just nuts - I am amazed how he can maintain his position. Nevertheless, I guess it is because Krugman fits well into Princeton's economics department of academic cheaters and crooks with such luminaries at the forefront like Bernanke and Blinder.
